Amy McNeil Named Tennessee Corn Promotion Council Executive Director
The Tennessee Corn Promotion Council has selected Amy McNeil to serve as Executive Director, effective January 1, 2025, following the planned retirement of Carol Reed, who served for five and a half years as the first Executive Director.
McNeil grew up on her family farm in Weakley County. Over the past 15 years, she has honed her skills in marketing and leadership in the corporate sector, gaining valuable experience that she will bring to her new role with the Tennessee Corn Promotion Council. McNeil is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Martin.
“We are pleased to have someone of Amy’s experience on board to continue our progress of promoting the Tennessee corn industry,” said Rob Holman, Tennessee Corn Promotion Council Chairman
“I am both excited and honored to take on the challenges and opportunities of serving Tennessee corn farmers as Executive Director of Tennessee Corn, said McNeil. “I look forward to working closely with the Tennessee agriculture community to ensure Tennessee Corn’s continued growth and success. Together, we will build on the strong foundation laid over the past five years.”
McNeil, her husband Trey, and their two young children are relocating to Weakley County.
