Harnessing the Power of Visual Storytelling

Located in the beautiful countryside of Riddleton, Tennessee, George McDonald’s farm, Catesa Farms, recently became the perfect canvas for helping the Tennessee Corn Promotion Board (TCPB) capture content to build upon its Fueled by Corn campaign.

Aiming to capture the essence of Tennessee’s corn industry, the video shoot delved into the versatility of corn and its impact on industries ranging from energy to agriculture. Interviews and footage covered the corn planting process, the intricacies of a modern tractor and planter, and how corn farmers diligently care for their environment.

By showcasing real Tennessee farmers, TCPB’s primary goal of this video shoot was not only to document the corn planting process but to also showcase the multiple uses of corn, highlighting corn’s significance in various aspects of our lives. This content will enable TCPB to communicate and connect with consumers, offering them a window into the lives of Tennessee corn farmers.

Additionally, the expanded Fueled by Corn campaign will have an emphasis on ethanol awareness for farmers and the agriculture community. Through visuals and storytelling, TCPB hopes to cultivate a deeper understanding of the impact ethanol has on the corn industry and support farmers in discussing ethanol usage with others.

The video shoot also served as an opportunity to capture photo assets for print and digital promotions, including usage at the 2023 Tennessee State Fair “Year of Corn”.
