This month, Tennessee corn farmers celebrate the five-year anniversary of the corn checkoff. Efforts to create a Tennessee Corn Checkoff began with the desire of Tennessee Corn Growers Association members to form a commodity group dedicated to expanding the sale and use of corn grown in Tennessee.
